Recently, some domestic steel mills have launched a new round of graphite electrode bidding procurement. It is understood that the transaction price of UHP400 of a steel plant in Shandong, China has reached 27500 rmb / ton recently, up 1500 rmb / ton from the bidding price in mid April. In addition, some steel mills in Hebei, Jiangsu and other parts of China said that there was a demand for replenishment, the procurement volume also increased, and the demand for graphite electrode gradually improved.
In addition, driven by the rapid development of negative electrode materials, the graphitization processing cost of graphite electrode continues to rise. At present, the graphitization processing cost of graphite electrode is mostly about 5600 rmb / ton, with individual high prices of 6000 rmb / ton. It is expected that the graphitization processing cost of electrode will still be in a high state in the short term. On the whole, there is a strong wait-and-see atmosphere in the current market, and the price of graphite electrode is mainly to implement the current increase.
